Yana Germann (b. 1990) is a Paris-based artist working across oil painting, sculpture and video game installations. Her practice is structured through Metarenaissance, a long-term framework that reimagines the Renaissance as a symbolic language for staging the psyche, memory, and desire within contemporary technological reality. Germann’s works unfold as psychologically charged scenes and concise 'playable myths', developed through a cyclical method she calls recursive embodiment — moving from handcrafted or drawn form through digital transformation and back into multilayered oil on canvas, restoring tactility and presence.

Recent highlights include a presentation with the Sigg Art Foundation at Art Basel 2025; the Paris+ par Art Basel 2024 panel “Metarenaissance: Building the Future”; and features in Technikart and FAD Magazine.
